Picture Purse-onality is owned and operated by two moms. No mother wants to hear of bad coming to any child. Therefore we've added this information in an attempt familarize you with possible hazards that are easily overlooked. |
Choking/Strangulation Hazard |
While the chances of being harmed by a fashion accessory may be slim it is the unexpected 'freak accidents' that cause the most heartache. Our items are designed to be used adults and children who are far enough developed (usually over 3 years) to understand dangers of chewing on or placing small objects in their mouth. It is unlikely but possible that a child could become caught in the handles (especially on the lightweight backpack) of a bag causing them to be unable to breath. We encourage you to stress the importance of NOT placing any type of cord or string around their neck during play. As always the best prevention is constant supervision. |
Personalizing Hazards |
While it is fashionable and fun to have your child's name embroidered on his/her belongings it can be dangerous as well. Child predators can learn a child's name from personalized bags and possibly more information depending on the photo content. They can use this information to gain trust from small children (I know your name because your mommy told me and asked me to come pick you up) . We strongly encourage you to speak to your child about speaking to and trusting strangers whether they have personalized items or not. |
Using your Pictures on our Website |
We love to show off our newest bags designed by our customers but we WILL NOT show your actual photos. If we use your bag on any marketing we will only do so after editing your picture with one of our children/relatives. This is the reason you may see your bag used for publicity but with another photo substitued. This is simply to remain consistent and protect the privacy of our valued clients. |
